if super powers were given out
the one i'd take without a doubt
would be the power to see the soul
cause takin' chances is gettin' old
i'd know the intent of all who enter
my world, and know just what they're after
fuck the trustin' and bein' wrong
i'd know who you are all along
when you lied, i'd know right away
and your games, i could choose to go or play
fuck the figurin' what you're all about
i would know you from the inside out

did you know that there is a way
that you have that Power today
whether you kneel you lay or you sit
the Power Of Prayer sees through all bullshit
& it will never lead you wrong
& the Right Path is the one you will be on
all you have to do is listen so God Will Hear
peoples true intentions & deny your tears
unless of course they're happy because those are the ones that matter
otherwise Life will be subjected to eternal disaster
that you have that Power today

a prayer journal is what i kept
prayed to my god in writing before i slept
that what i wanted of a mate, he'd also make of me
and when he put him in my path, that i would see
all unanswered prayers, that left me alone and frightened

did you ever consider that you are still under His Construction
so that you will find Love light years beyond just lusting
it is the time that we proclaim readiness for self
that we fall victim to the game that beats a heart to death
then all that is left is utter bitterness
claiming that all men are dogs & Love does not exist....

I can really relate to your poem and yes I would love to have that power too. Laying on your back, siting down, or even going to church. Yeah ok whatever. I'm a person of faith but we only ask for heavenly items. I have never prayed for myself always others. Not to be a dick but ask GOD for a Mazda see what you get. Alot of what we are is victimized by others. I guess they pray to do this to us. Angel it get your point great write
