I Thought You Knew
Nowhere to run
The ends begins
Before I’ve begun
I’ve been erased by the old me
It can’t be the way that it used to be
I’m starting to see everything clearly
Can you tell me again?
Will you hold me?
Like the way you used to?
If you’re on the edge or can’t decide what to do
Take another step, I’ll jump with you
I thought I’d hate you
I needed you
I thought I’d hate you
From pain you put me through
I thought I’d hate you
Cause I needed truth
I thought I’d hate you
I thought you knew
It’s hard enough with you standing next to me
Your scent revives the memories that I had with you
I need to know, do you believe in this?
Every moment that we reminisce feels like deja vu
I thought I’d hate you
I needed you
I thought I’d hate you
From the pain you put me through
I thought I’d hate you
Cause I needed truth
I thought I’d hate you
I thought you knew
The ends begins
