A Backbend?

I Find myself in a meeting
A senseless card
Reflecting a vision of time
Bitter old enmities
You once held towards me
And what I did

What I did you you
That's not fair,
Is it?
That I am seen as monster-
The one you stuff under your bed.

You're relapsing
Under beaming moonlight
Or that spotlight
You try to scrub
Out of your filthy hair
Filled with grease
Clumps of his blood

I feel your placid expression,
On my blind lashes.
