Someone asked me what Love is

Someone asked me what love is.
Love is when the deepest part of your soul and someone else’s deepest part hug, comprehend and respect each other. Love is when the deepest fear you wouldn’t dare saying in front of anyone, becomes easy to tell in front of someone. Love is when you would do anything for the other person, not because you get something back but because if she’s happy you’re happy. Love is not easy, love is complicated and unfair. It often involves sacrifice, trade offs and heartbreaks. Indeed, we are only heartbroken because we love too much, or because we don’t understand love. Love is the strongest feeling, and you need to learn how to use it. Love is fire, and people get burned. But fire keeps you warm, and so does love. Every day ‘till you let it.
Love is a pit, you fall in it, without choosing. And no matter what happens next, love will leave you a mark. Real love can’t be rushed, it can’t be forced, it can’t be faked. In contrast, other feelings can be mistaken for love, like a dog from a wolf or a chicken from a cock. Not everyone in this world is ready for love, and not everyone deserves it. However, love is like a ghost, that silently hits whoever is on its way, making people scarily happy and freaking out. And same as encountering a ghost, you can’t ever forget if you’ve been in love.
