Obsessed am I
Damn my eyes
Wasted tears
Images seared
into my retina
Curse my ears
The voice I hear
Poetic gold
In awe I hold
Erase my memory
The detail inside
A corrosive tide
Now history
My heart swollen
With love and pride
Destroyed by explosion
The spirit has died
This crippled gent
Left to rot and decay
Acknowledgement
Nothing left to say

Thanks for the kind response HJ, just watched a homeless guy limping along the street and my heart went out to him and the words just came.
