Arresting Potency
My virtues are shredded
By this curse I've embedded
Like a serpent beheaded
I'll be the first to regret it
Turned to a person I've dreaded
Sunk into bliss
Stuck in the abyss
Sun on the verge of setting
In the twilight, words forgetting
From bad to worse I'm treading
Cracks are bound to burst the levee
Ravaged mind, purge of sanity
Craft a fine dirge for serenity
Mournful verses, peaceful threnody
Moments before this evil renders me
Hopeless and manic, strengthened disease
Entering glee as I'm ending their pleas
Defenseless they panic, I rend as they bleed
Drenching tears and laughter blending
Unquenchable thirst descending
Your wrenching fears I face unbending
In hell immersed, torment impending
