The Dying Sleep
Feality for the dead to ponder
The Sun quips at such absurdity
The shadow reaching, forever falters
Too farflung in carnal wonder
Chaotic rantings to spurn the sermon and begrudge the dying sky above
A sunset spattered within the painting
The splendor of the critic waiting
Fouling the galleries of the color blind
When whims are struck with deviled truths to utter not sophistication
The sanctum broke and sunshine wanning
A paradigm of the debt descending
Usher in the age of ruin
A hundred dreams to guard the waking
I suffer so in my sleep
No respite for the unkempt man
Tommorow longs the jaded soul
To and fro and on and on
When I die loyal to none
Reigning darkness a gift to come
Prying eyes when this light dies
An awakening of Oblivion
The Sun quips at such absurdity
The shadow reaching, forever falters
Too farflung in carnal wonder
Chaotic rantings to spurn the sermon and begrudge the dying sky above
A sunset spattered within the painting
The splendor of the critic waiting
Fouling the galleries of the color blind
When whims are struck with deviled truths to utter not sophistication
The sanctum broke and sunshine wanning
A paradigm of the debt descending
Usher in the age of ruin
A hundred dreams to guard the waking
I suffer so in my sleep
No respite for the unkempt man
Tommorow longs the jaded soul
To and fro and on and on
When I die loyal to none
Reigning darkness a gift to come
Prying eyes when this light dies
An awakening of Oblivion
