Yup, that about sums it up. We don't celebrate Christmas in my family. But we do spend winter solstice together, laughing and eating and spending much needed time together. No commercialism catered to. Much enjoyed this little piece, my friend. :-)

I now concur - I will not be celebrating christmas at all this year, will be on my own for the first time at christmas so this will be nothing to celebrate.
It will just be another day that is all.
