offering unconditional love
Giving all of herself
for the advancement of us
 
 
So many have forgotten
all it is you do
how you
love us
nurture us
supply our water and food
 
 
Oh gracious mother earth
Giver to us all
Sorry they disrespect you
And spoil your soil
 
I apologize for the blood shed
on your sacred land
you must understand  
the arrogance  
of man
 
Some are thanking  
a god above
others  
a god below
never
once
thanking  
you for your role
