the unprotected dolphin

the dolphin swims in a foreign sea
confused and perplexedly out of place
frightened
her boundaries are thin
strangers swim so close
feelings of security and protection waver
in a sad sea where strangers lurk
nobody cares to welcome the newbie

swamped down
uncared for
threatened by fish
swimming in the direction of her choice
accidentally swooshing by her side
or purposefully prying upon her vulnerability
disregarding the need for safe security
space protection and freedom

she swims around like a fool who has no choice
taking in the water
accepting ignorant footsteps upon her skin
intrusions which seem out of place
neglect and abuse from the outside

all made her feel small and weak
unprotected
a neglectful environment
uncaring thoughtless behaviour
violence from the outside

this person , this girl
she was like a lonely dolphin without a strong skin
swamped by environments she could not escape from
a weak fish who could do nothing
but simply sit and feel
everything
