Wall of Faces
Sitting in this room,
Nothing but the walls,
Surrounding me,
The wall of faces,
Are not my friends,
There are my enemies,
They speak to me in my mind,
The voices speak to me.
The faces on the wall,
Stay there and stare at me,
Some are high some are low,
Some talk fast,
Some talk slow…
They just stare at me,
Looking at me like i'm a freak,
Looking at me like i'm some kind of creep.
They think I don’t belong,
Well I proved them wrong,
No one should hold a grudge,
No one should be judged,
For being who they are,
No one should hate,
No one should rate,
That ain’t the way,
To decide the twist of fate.
Nothing but the walls,
Surrounding me,
The wall of faces,
Are not my friends,
There are my enemies,
They speak to me in my mind,
The voices speak to me.
The faces on the wall,
Stay there and stare at me,
Some are high some are low,
Some talk fast,
Some talk slow…
They just stare at me,
Looking at me like i'm a freak,
Looking at me like i'm some kind of creep.
They think I don’t belong,
Well I proved them wrong,
No one should hold a grudge,
No one should be judged,
For being who they are,
No one should hate,
No one should rate,
That ain’t the way,
To decide the twist of fate.
