Life Path

the play that children make believe
the importance of how to mate
and how to learn how to sucseed
the carpenter the woodmans lathe

the spindle for a throne
a milking stool for the maidens rump
riven out of wood not stone
grown the branch the twig the trunk

plastic armaggedon
its on the table creeping closer
the way is fouled but never rotten
the map and chart the toxic grocer

die upon the plastic pyre
and nature said fetility will suffer
the mountinous swilling gyre
a train crashing into the buffers

the life path the ostrich hides
the sands of times benchmark implies
the snores of boredom hide the cries
the hades path that our world strides
