Short Orders
In reaching out, too far. . .
sometimes,
(perhaps only in my own fabrication)
I experience wounds,
that are not my own.
Guessing----
I may not be as absent minded
or less pragmatic
as I am constantly told.
Perhaps,
an apology is in order.
(I am not a short order cook)
Even if I know the reasons.
It must be that seasoning!
(too salty, too sour, too sweet)
Have I missed the obvious,
again?
(guess so)
Did I forget to add a spice?
(maybe so)
I pray, I have not...
needs wants advice
I pray that in little reasons
that (not only) I forgive
but that I will be
be forgiven.
And sometimes,
reasons (apologies) cannot be
spoken----
no less put on paper.
In short order,
perhaps they needn't be.
