Who's Controlling This Fight
A wise man
I never claimed
And my happy days
Seems to turn to clouds
An overcast
Settles over my pride
Mood swings
Others say
I suffer from day to day
But it's a war I fight
Inside of me
Between my mind
And physical activity
My mind I trust
But what I do
I swear it's not myself
Alone I sit amongst others
But mentally
Be thousands miles away
Even that
Doesn't disable how I move
I commit physical sin
Then later when the dust settles
Remorse can be heard in my voice
Yes
I know right from wrong
But this battle I fight
There's no end insight
I never claimed
And my happy days
Seems to turn to clouds
An overcast
Settles over my pride
Mood swings
Others say
I suffer from day to day
But it's a war I fight
Inside of me
Between my mind
And physical activity
My mind I trust
But what I do
I swear it's not myself
Alone I sit amongst others
But mentally
Be thousands miles away
Even that
Doesn't disable how I move
I commit physical sin
Then later when the dust settles
Remorse can be heard in my voice
Yes
I know right from wrong
But this battle I fight
There's no end insight
