Passing Away

vibrating fingers
vibrating toes
vibrating legs
ears, eyes and nose

we cannot move
we cannot arise
as death approaches
all our old ties

to all that's around us
and all those we know
fast disappearing
as we now go

upwardly floating
abandoning
what kept us down
and locked within

all that we thought
all we believed
now we are going
please do not grieve

on, on and on
we cannot stay
death is life
which goes away

still there is something
still there's somewhere
bright light is shining
as we go there
