I was thinking of creating a competition called, "Trigger Warning" for poems that could easily trigger people, having inadvertently triggered someone with one of mine recently. Honestly, I think it could corral quite a few good ones!

It does rather awaken a sense of outrage doesn't it?
Strangely...I feel less outrage at the horrible things I see us do to each other
than when I see an injured pussycat.

Woah. I'm right there with you. I loathe this sick fuckery. As an animal rights advocate, I must add this although the image is gruesome, but the message appropriate. I don't think I'll sleep tonight though. Ugh.

I'm glad you did. I've seen so much travesty with animals, I expose what I see. Keep fighting for them!!
