city of 4 million empty without one
some souls light up
the earth
like stars light up
the sky
and from a distance
when the brightest light
that shone
and adorned
the city
is not in sight
it leaves that corner of the earth
in total darkness
for the distant
star gazer
some nights
i see my star
said someone
yes
some nights
and the other
are the nights
of blank
black
better keep eyes closed
for there is nothing to see
in a city
that is empty
yet houses
four million
the earth
