Radiation Burns

I reached out to touch your porcelain soft skin
Invisible flames leapt from your flesh to burn  my soul
Branding my heart with an impression of your face
Enticing me to fall where I have no right to go
Yet I am compelled by the imprint you unknowingly left on me
4000 leagues beneath Jupiter's swirling hurricane
Your crushing gravity holds me beneath your thunderstorm
Yet the calm in your eyes provides my will to survive a tropical isle
Where greenish blue skies gaze down through circling clouds
Lost and found on an island paradise I lay on your soft sandy beach
As high tide washes over me, cleansing the dirt of the past from my feet
Erasing the path leading back to a past I never again want to see
Irradiate me with the flames of your passionate fire
Keep me warm in my Winter until Spring comes with nectarine flows
Is this just a dream or a vision of days yet o come?
