The Light
There’s still a part of me
That keeps wishing that the
Version of you I held so closely to
Is within my reach and not in a dream world.
I still imagined you
Rooting for me
Comforting me
Caressing me
I needed to forget and disengage
But I still felt the solace and heaven
You left me in.
Before you,
There was too much darkness
You brought me back into light
You paved me a path
I still wanted to follow you
I still don’t know how to tread on
Unattended
While you already severed me
From your trace
It’s still bright enough to see you
On ahead
I only await for the light
To one day blind me
Just as you
Had blinded me.
That keeps wishing that the
Version of you I held so closely to
Is within my reach and not in a dream world.
I still imagined you
Rooting for me
Comforting me
Caressing me
I needed to forget and disengage
But I still felt the solace and heaven
You left me in.
Before you,
There was too much darkness
You brought me back into light
You paved me a path
I still wanted to follow you
I still don’t know how to tread on
Unattended
While you already severed me
From your trace
It’s still bright enough to see you
On ahead
I only await for the light
To one day blind me
Just as you
Had blinded me.
