Trapped within liquid walls
Soft wind stings my eyes
Tears roll down my rosy cheeks
That have been kissed by winters breeze
Diamond little tear drops
Fall onto the icy carpet
That’s coating my world
Like frosting
I stare at the glimmering tear
It dances with colours
But it’s still crystal clear
Little miracles jump and dance
Within the drop
It’s like a snow globe
Holding a memory
If I lean close to the drop
I can see my reflection
Staring back
The tear drop
Captures me
A multidimensional vision
Trapped within liquid walls
The cool breeze stings
My eyes again
And another tear
Another memory
Grazes my cheek and lips
As onto the ice
It drips
Tears roll down my rosy cheeks
That have been kissed by winters breeze
Diamond little tear drops
Fall onto the icy carpet
That’s coating my world
Like frosting
I stare at the glimmering tear
It dances with colours
But it’s still crystal clear
Little miracles jump and dance
Within the drop
It’s like a snow globe
Holding a memory
If I lean close to the drop
I can see my reflection
Staring back
The tear drop
Captures me
A multidimensional vision
Trapped within liquid walls
The cool breeze stings
My eyes again
And another tear
Another memory
Grazes my cheek and lips
As onto the ice
It drips
