Beyond Flesh And Bone
Before my throne lays the grave
My mortality must be saved
Know thine kingdom has one less
For me death is a mess
I prefer life's insanity
Take it over Heaven's eternity
My pursuits are not all for naught
I shall champion over rot
While others flesh is decayed to the bone
I'll sit high on the eternal throne
My ministers long buried and time flaying their skin
I'll observe the march of time on their corpse's kin
I'll see the putrid human engines beneath
The green laurel of rotten filth bequeath
Their skeletal grins smiling at me
Knowing from that taint I'm free
As others of beauty and stature are reduced to ash
I sit upon their dead skulls already bashed
I am the deathless king and wraith
I need no afterlife earned by faith
My mortality must be saved
Know thine kingdom has one less
For me death is a mess
I prefer life's insanity
Take it over Heaven's eternity
My pursuits are not all for naught
I shall champion over rot
While others flesh is decayed to the bone
I'll sit high on the eternal throne
My ministers long buried and time flaying their skin
I'll observe the march of time on their corpse's kin
I'll see the putrid human engines beneath
The green laurel of rotten filth bequeath
Their skeletal grins smiling at me
Knowing from that taint I'm free
As others of beauty and stature are reduced to ash
I sit upon their dead skulls already bashed
I am the deathless king and wraith
I need no afterlife earned by faith
