inside
i wish i was blind
so my eyes could see. . .
i wish i was deaf
so my ears could hear. . .
without distraction
the landscape
the language
inside my mind
i wish i had eyes
so i could see. . .
i wish i had ears
so i could hear. . .
with all its distractions
the landscape
the language
outside my mind
i took for not
a prisoner
chained in the dark
alone
with only a fading thought
of a world
once seen
once heard
unappreciated.
so my eyes could see. . .
i wish i was deaf
so my ears could hear. . .
without distraction
the landscape
the language
inside my mind
i wish i had eyes
so i could see. . .
i wish i had ears
so i could hear. . .
with all its distractions
the landscape
the language
outside my mind
i took for not
a prisoner
chained in the dark
alone
with only a fading thought
of a world
once seen
once heard
unappreciated.
