Keep Walking
A race is not the issue
it's the color of safety-vest orange
black asphalt and white stripes won't miss you
reflector in warning-light red
all roads lead somewhere
in your hard-hat yellow
though your eyes are sullen, sunken into your head
and you think the devil may care
the road is hard and uneven
thus is the path you choose
camera eyes are the cold God you believe in
in their mind you are not fit for the storm drain made for ooze
your journey doesn't care if you are able to see it through
guided or not, sometimes there is no helping hand, there is only you.
