I (dont) lie

I lie. I lie about everything all the time to everyone. I lie and say that I’m ok when I am dying inside. I smile and laugh it off when someone says I look sad, or say I’m just tired. I lie and say their words don’t effect me. I lie and say, it’s ok everything is ok. I even lie to myself, saying that it will get better, everything is gonna be great soon. I know that’s not true. I lie. But I guess that’s what being human is right? Lying to yourself to make it through the day. Lying to others to pretend you are ok. That’s what it’s like to be human right? That’s what being human is to me. For once I didn’t lie.
