as Beth walked by me, ecstasy, next to me
bent over in fantastic reality
sent to hover over unrealistic fantasy
as soft pink lips released half-heard words
lifting drifting dripping sips sinking silently upwards
Eyes gaze into eyes as souls inspect souls
dissecting disguises behind mutual goals
