As the crow flies
feeling intensify distance shrinks
love is carried on beating wings
let Ley lines connect with power links

the chains and furlongs hear my plea
longings life's un-trodden leagues
degrees just small imprints
are we all just children dreams
dazzled in the headlights beam

and from the chrysalis cocoon
the jiving butterfly's moves
to fly haphazard in the sun and breeze
my passion fingered like worry beads

the span of regard a bridge suspended from the stars
to jump or push on, that decisions yours
for that flight can stall on the departure board
it bends and warps to the hens call

the ring i bring like a goldfinch charm
the horizon chatter from loneliness torn
or will the magnetic north deceive
to journey and trust what you want to achieve
