What a day. I woke up for college and went to campus without turning on a television or radio. The campus was deserted. Not a person, not a car. There was never a place to park, never a silent moment on that campus before. It was like being in a dream. I went into the deserted lecture hall, called out and my voice echoed. I went home, turned on the tv and saw the replay of the first plane striking the Twin Towers. When I saw the second plane hit, I thought it was another replay. I sat, weeping in horror as I watched people jump to their deaths, rather than burn. My cousin Keith worked on an upper floor, but being late for work saved his life.
In that day we were busy in preparation for our exam, but we heard the news and turn TV set on, the state of mind was changed. The live telecast showing innocents in agony, panic and cry searching for help. it was a nightmare telecasted live. Never wish to remember that time, when there was notime running for life.
