Origami

With each other, our surface is better
Corner to corner we come together  
Although, our alliance is so much fresher  
We crease away when we feel the pressure  
Whilst all these folds thicken our centre  
There’s a beak in front, yet we have no feathers  
A wing each side, we could fly forever  
We may have no feet below however    
We stand in union above all measure  
The final mould, we made this treasure

Author's Note
This was originally about my relationships with those that I keep dear, then I noticed the pattern when I came up with the line "We crease away when we feel the pressure" - That's when I decided to use the metaphor of Origami
