Tragedy

I know who the man is that my sister Valere should have married;
If she didn't end up buried.
This fact will make me quite upset;
But, Valere should have married Brett.
They were together and separated over the years;
And losing her caused many tears.
They surely loved one another;
Valere could have been Brett's child's mother.
But, years ago Valere died by suicide;
And everyone that knew her cried.
I once didn't understand how life could go on;
But, it seems there always comes a new dawn.
It was the year of the worst American disaster in history;
At least now Osama Bin Laden's whereabouts is a solved mystery.
Nine months after 8/11, my nephew Charlie was born;
So that my family could be less forlourn.
2001 was a terrible year;
It cause so many so much fear.
Now, it is ten years later, and I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life;
Because, I just became Jacob's wife.
The very next month, my happiness is much more mild;
Because I just lost my kitty child.
