Flat Fields.
Out amongst the flat fields
With a thousand yard stare
I can see for miles it seems
Such horrors haunt the horizon
In the dark corners of my mind
I can hear them call and bay
Feel fear rise, so very sure
They'll take my life someday
As the savage beasts approach
The black nothing rushes in
Fills my heart, an empty soul
Like so little else can do
Out amongst the flat fields
Dark desolation brings despair!
