Torn Pieces
I am being torn to pieces by my own heart
Because of my love you do not want a part
I try but you reject me every time I turn
I have never felt your fire yet I still feel the burn
I know that I should leave but my heart says stay
As new pieces of me just keep falling by the way
It is not your fault it is just what I feel and see
If you must blame someone put the blame on me
I always think about you even when you are not around
As torn pieces of my heart are getting harder to be found

a longing and a sadness in this piece. I like the rhythm it keeps when you read it out loud.
