A Decision

Twists and turns and strange designs
Are the patterns forming within my mind
A feeling of sudden sorrow
An unexplainable grief
Yet peaceful as the patterns twist and curl in their spiral turns
A decision had been made
One that brings all these deep twists of pain
But the turns remind me that it was for the best
It's just this sorrow that needs to rest
But it takes time to heal
Pain is what creates difficulty when choosing the correct deal
It hurts a lot
But it had to be done
The twists and turns of sorrows and goodwill transform into a deep peaceful yet sad spiral pattern
That's the beauty of pain visualised
Making the correct decision despite the sorrow it brings means the great war has been won
Hopefully time will be able to heal the wounds
Even though the scars will last a lifetime...
