Alone at sea
To stare at the glistening stars,
And to smile gleefully.
To have sparkling golden sand stuck inbetween my toes,
As I run towards the shore.
To feel the cold waves crash against my body,
As I walk towards them.
To sit on a rock up high,
And watch the tides rise and fall.
To feel the iced breeze across my face,
And to admire the beauty of the moonlit sky.
Dispite the pandemic brought upon this tragic world,
To finally feel blissful peace...
Is the most precious treasure,
That only the ocean can bring...
And to smile gleefully.

Reminiscence
As I lay on my bed
Staring out my window,
Staring up at the sky
As I watch those stars sparkle and the moon's confident glow,
And admire their timeless beauty
As the time goes by
The seaming thread of thoughts in my mind drift away...
They drift back in time
To that little girl with all the dreams in the world, with a smile brighter than the sun and a heart as pure as gold
To that shy timid nerdy teenager, with a side of her she was afraid to show
To that young woman stepping into campus for the first time, with...

A Decision
Twists and turns and strange designs
Are the patterns forming within my mind
A feeling of sudden sorrow
An unexplainable grief
Yet peaceful as the patterns twist and curl in their spiral turns
A decision had been made
One that brings all these deep twists of pain
But the turns remind me that it was for the best
It's just this sorrow that needs to rest
But it takes time to heal
Pain is what creates difficulty when choosing the correct deal
It hurts a lot
But it had to be done
The twists and turns of sorrows and goodwill...

Uncertainty
Shadowed by uncertainty,
Is the nature of life.
This unpredictability nurtures fear within us all,
And causes us to battle a war of resistance to the change.
But why do we fear the unknown?
When in reality,
If absolutely nothing is certain,
Then absolutely anything can be possible...

The Only Ones
The Demons that reside within us
We all want to eliminate them
To Destroy them
To Kill them
But the truth is....
They are the only ones who have seen the real you.
They the only ones who have seen your each and every scar.
They are the only ones who will know who you truely are.

They are the only ones who will recognize you when you remove your mask of facade

My Mind
I write what I can't say out loud
All these thoughts and confusions
Puzzle pieces of unknown emotions
Scattered throughout billions of mazes
That are situated on a hazy cloud
That's floating aimlessly through the skies of my mind
Oh! how I wish my entire mind were set ablaze
For a synchronized set of thoughts is so very hard to find

Our Story
Those who's stories end with obtaining their love,
Are fortunate...
Those who's stories end with them dieing for their love,
Are strange...
Our story is neither fortunate nor strange,
Our story is magnificently unique my love...
Our distance is as far as the sea to the sky,
Yet we are so close...
I know you will never be mine
For you Moon are in love with the beautiful stars
And I'm the ocean,
Who's waves are mesmerized by you,
As you keep me company from afar
In the loneliness of the night.
...

The Ocean
The ocean
She exists in mystery
Her depths are unknown
And beauty untouched
Her waters reflect her love
So pure, so beautiful, so very delicate
Yet so very powerful
She may care about you from every depth of her soul
But there are nights where she knows no mercy
Because those are the nights
she confides her bottled emotions
To the only one she trusts
To the only one able to calm her fierce waves
To her loyal friend and largest crush
The breathtaking moon.
