Tears for a poet

tears for a false love lost
another dead end path walked
tears for the loneliness
a longing for completeness hidden deep within
tears for a true love not yet met
where is the one for whom she was meant
for this and more she wept
needfully rolling down her cheeks
before falling through Destiny's skies
borne through the clouds and the sun hidden from sight
capturing upon their surface The Sisters scattered light
splashing on the blank pages of the journal of Fate
a prism of spiderweb stains spreading like ink
from the rainbows gathered on their enchanted fall
pages written a destiny set
A poet she will require
one who will bleed words to speak his desire
a composer to soothe her storm with his song
a bard to tie her with the truth of his poems
prose rhyme and meter
these are the tools fate will give him to win her
but though his own skill
he must weave the skein of their plan
Destiny has merely given him a hand
