And we never wanna close our eyes.
We fight, We Kill,
We just wanna protect our lives.
We betray,
We backstab,
We hide behind others in the firing line.
We believe, we follow,
All that we think is right.  
We invent,  
We sail,
Into the greater depths of our minds.  
We rebel,  
We conquer,  
It's all in the beat of our hearts.  
We steal,
We cheat,
No one has ever had enough.  
We're black,
We're white,
Deep inside we're the same.  
We fake,  
We thieves,
We learned to hide behind a veil.
There's no shame
This is the modern day,
This is who we are.
