BEAUTY in my DESPAIR
You’re at work,
It’s a normal thing,
The same routines over and over again,
A cycle…
The day’s pass by faster,
Yet time feels as if it’s not moving at all for you…
You’re just there…
Your friends are all married happily with their families,
You’re still alone.
You realize that you’re getting older….
You feel as if the world is on your shoulders,
You’re not getting any bolder,
You’re moving slower.
Then it hits you…,
Life, hits you…,
Reality hits you…,
You realize that you’ve got to seize your moments while you can…,
Grasp every opportunity while you can…,
Some people may say “when life gives you lemons make lemonade”,
But in the words of a man,
When life comes at you like a bitch,
And I quote, “Grab her by the pussy” lol.
We all have our struggles, pains and heartache,
But it’s our job to make things better,
To be better,
To rise up and face reality,
Time waits for no one,
Make hay while the sun still shines,
Enjoy life,
Live, laugh, love, Protect and respect.
Help others to realize this truth,
That even though life gets you down,
We all have a purpose, and we need to find that purpose.
So GET! UP! ,
Smile, rejoice and give thanks for the life you’ve got,
Don’t sit around moping, complaining, and popping sorrows,
Be vibrant, be beautiful.
While searching for your purpose be happy, make others happy,
And you’ll find that this life can be a wonderful thing,
It all depends on YOU.
