Sound of Happiness
Life’s a constant struggle, but there are moments worth remembering
My first accomplishment that made me proud of myself
I had climbed a figurative mountain and made it to the top
I’ve never seen such a beautiful sight, and it’s brought me new perspective
The sound of happiness is my joyous laughter once I made it
The sound of happiness is glancing down at the beautiful blue waves gently crashing on the shore
The sound of happiness is seeing my parents smile that light up my world more so than the sun
But most importantly, the sound of happiness is the complete peace I now feel within my heart and my soul
I had struggled through the darkest times, and finally reached the light
I had made it.

Something that most resonates with me is making your parents proud..it was my only goal and then, all in the world was right. So beautifully written and Im glad you took a journey worthwhile and happiness you found

I am astonished by the beauty of your ideas. Can't tell you how much your words have inspired me in improving everything in my life and other people's lives. Although poetry is my hobby, I also like composing lyrics for songs, and I think some of your ideas might fit pretty well in a song, the title of which I think you've already guessed. I also work in a company called On Tour Events, whose website is https://www.ontourevents.co.uk/ that supplies audiovisual & technical event production services, and I think at our next event we'll design the stage and call it the audio sound of happiness.

Thank you for your comment, marygray. I'm glad that my poem had a positive effect on you. The sound of happiness is something everyone desires, either consciously or subconsciously. We all yearn to be recognized for our talent and accomplishments and to be acknowledged by those we respect and cherish. The sound of happiness is our ultimate gift and goal.
