Youth is idealistic and sometimes unrealistic. We all fail to live up to certain ideals. Not because we are failures, but sometimes because the game was rigged and we found out later.
I often wonder whether I would change anything in my past...
There are moments I'm not proud of, and I would change that... and then I think some more...
Anything I change back there, will affect how I am now and here... change the lessons I learned when I hurt someone... that's part of what makes me, me.
And I like me pretty well... I turned out OK... I haven't made a big change for the better in the World...
But i have made many small ones...
I have made people happy, made them proud of what they had accomplished, or made something for them they see as beautiful.
I changed their lives for the better... and that is a good thing.
I think I'll leave it be... Ely
