Wait What

We just said goodbye
And I find myself already missing you
It's in the little things
The smile you just gave me
The warm hug we just shared
I find myself watching you walk away
Conflicted because only a schedule
Keeps us away from each other
I mean who came up with this thing
Called work - I mean why not give lovers an extra break.

Wait What?

Did I really just say that?
Okay now I am lost in my thoughts
But this moment seems so slow
Watching you walk away
Feels like the longest
moment of my life
Because I am already missing you

I miss the little things
Your Shoulder on my chest

Wait what

Your head leaning on my shoulder
You being close enough
To feel my heart beating for you
I miss that bubble we are in
When we're together

Wait how long have
I been standing here
Wait what time is it

Wait what

I think I'm running late
