Volume I- Express Yourself
Affliction addiction can’t understand why my bf won’t stop the infliction.
Stuck in a prison prism with no way out.
I watch him unravel and try to battle his way out.
Baltimore streets seen fiends.
Turn the corner another kids dreams.
Pulaski Street almost took my life everyday I rolled the dice.
West side, south side all sides flip and hustle to try and thrive.
Stick up kids who rob to survive while others are 16 watching their parents addicted to dope, filled with no hope sellin it on the streets.
All we want is equality we all bleed the same stick a needle in my vein.
Robbin' and stealin for you. I even turned blue for you. I must be here for a purpose bc I'm still alive speakin to you. Grew up listening to Nas, L, and Cole. Straight A's Dean's list while addicted to blues.
It’s been almost two years since I was first introduced to you.
It started with blues never thought it would surpass to you.
Still battling depression.
Daddy died it's only been two months
Watched the time as if we could prevent the inevitable
Distorted thoughts overcome me
I’ve fallen trying to steady climb back up
The american dream is deceased our obsession with greed increased. While the pharmaceutical industry continues to create consumers another mother just cremated their lifeless child.
Our judicial system is sustained through money and power
Corruptive figures count the dollars
While profits rise and the living cells lack
The proper composition in order to rewire a criminal’s mind back.
Not even 30 and I've lost at least 30 from drugs, guns, and suicide. A generation is lost torn and bruised. 301 bumpin triple six who helped supply my fix. My people both Yale and bail.
