Reality Was More Than She Seemed

She Said Her Name Really Was Reality

She Smelled Of Old Dark Potpourri

Her Eyes In Her Gaze Did Truly Emote

A World That Amazed Quite Remote

A Blackened Sun And Cold White Moon

She Lived On The Edge Of A Dark Lagoon

And Made Her Money Doing Divination

Or Casting Spells Of Blessing Or Damnation

Yet That Was All Of Which She Was Forthcoming

When I Asked For Any More She Just Said Nothing

And When We Settled Into My Bed For The Night

She Put Lips To My Ear Then Whispered Reality Bites !
