Fatherless Child
He's slaving away each and everyday at his nine to five
Working his fingers to the bone but failing to realize
Outside his child is yearning for him to come home
Yet he's caged by his workplace without time for foam
Foam toys he's bought for his boy to play with
Not understanding that his time is his best gift
It's as if the caged bird was singing "I'm finally free"
While making it rain on the man with the college degree
As he is asleep at the wheel and unable to tell what's going on
At home his son grows and is exposed to the streets tone
A deadly weapon for a son without the guidance of his father
Since he didn't bother the block desired his son and led him to his slaughter
After that the sky became black then filled with gray clouds
The sounds in this father's dome could only be tamed with loud
After awhile even loud couldn't keep the voices quiet inside
So he couldn't cope, lost all hope and then committed suicide
BE A FATHER TO YOUR CHILD
Working his fingers to the bone but failing to realize

Foam toys he's bought for his boy to play with
Not understanding that his time is his best gift
