It takes a lot of work
And sweat and tears
To win the prize that everyone holds so dear
Some people will try to steal what you have
And push you back into what they see as your place
They don’t recognize all of your hard slogging
They’d rather steal a sense of belonging from you
And it takes a lot of bloody fists
To make your way to the end
So just be ready to fight for what you’ve gained so far
