Conjuror of Horrors
You relax in your warm bed
You pull those covers over
You lay back and rest your head
Your eyelids sinking lower
Finally they close and open a new world to imagine
Subconsciously give life to anything that you can fathom
Visions of magic, angels, and demons
A wonderful landscape ripe for my scheming
Visions so tragic, painful, and bleeding
The best part, you won't even know you've been dreaming
Driven to madness, disdainful, tears streaming
No turning back until you wake up screaming
Thunder claps in loud applause
As I hold your fate in my jaws
Make your heart and mind collapse
Hold your sanity in my grasp
Ground to dust, scattered to air
Crushed to nothing, battered despair
Throat dried up, flesh peeled away
No waking up until I'm finished the flay
Even when your eyes open, your energy drained
Blood racing through your pulsing veins
Sweat pouring down, matting your hair and face
As you look around, gathering time and place
You recall every ride at your fantastic fright fair
Know it all was real, not just a nightmare
You pull those covers over
You lay back and rest your head
Your eyelids sinking lower
Finally they close and open a new world to imagine
Subconsciously give life to anything that you can fathom
Visions of magic, angels, and demons
A wonderful landscape ripe for my scheming
Visions so tragic, painful, and bleeding
The best part, you won't even know you've been dreaming
Driven to madness, disdainful, tears streaming
No turning back until you wake up screaming
Thunder claps in loud applause
As I hold your fate in my jaws
Make your heart and mind collapse
Hold your sanity in my grasp
Ground to dust, scattered to air
Crushed to nothing, battered despair
Throat dried up, flesh peeled away
No waking up until I'm finished the flay
Even when your eyes open, your energy drained
Blood racing through your pulsing veins
Sweat pouring down, matting your hair and face
As you look around, gathering time and place
You recall every ride at your fantastic fright fair
Know it all was real, not just a nightmare
