Flash

You're like a flash in the dark night
The wolves eagerly praying for a fight.
The silence of the world,but not quite a mute.
Only when your near,though even for a moment,
Complete silence.
The flickering lights shine through you,
Almost as if you're there,
But not quite.
Your touch,banishing my thoughts.
Your words,darken my soul.
Your mere gaze, a lightning bolt.
Your thoughts keep me skeptical.  
The blue moon washes out your eyes.
The stars compliment you,
Better than I ever had a chance to.
Nights are long,though even a flash,
Can keep the night alive.
