Rose Garden

I will miss those fragrant petals
Dancing in the summer breeze,
The scent of heaven flowering
Under Elderberry trees.

The sheen of violet colour warms
My solitary mind,
Gazing through the windows of
A love so intertwined.

The rosebuds are so soft to touch,
Just like a velvet sheath;
They glisten in the morning mist,
Like love so bittersweet.

Author's Note
Saying goodbye to my rose garden as I prepare to move...roses are
beautiful to admire, but just be careful not to cut yourself on the...thorns.
