Single Mother's Fault

She knew he didn't love her
She married him anyway
He is now missing
She is the main suspect on the play

Daddy shouldn’t have left
Your mother’s fault

Daddy never keeps in touch
Blame your mom

Too often unsuspecting men are blamed
She knew him
Yet, him she wanted to be tamed
She had the hots for him like a devil’s flame
Knowing he was just playing a childish game

It happens,
She overhit or undermine her own expectations
It happens,
She blames her downfall on the male

It happens,
Worthless fathers do leave

It’s possible,
Single mother the root of the problem
It’s possible,
She held onto a falling branch
It’s possible,
She made a mistake
