On The Edge {Chapter 16}

Melina wakes up on Eric's couch fully naked, glowing from last night.
She lays back down smiling as she remembers everything they both did together and couldn't believe they both felt something for each other this whole entire time. Melina, really couldn't tell if she was Eric's type since she was more outgoing, wild, and brash than he was. She liked to party, smoke weed, and do things that weren't in the ordinary. Eric was always the bookworm, the good kid, and the one at home studying or writing poetry or novels.    
She never really saw that there would be a connection, but either way she was happy to have him.  
Eric, walked out of the kitchen wearing just his boxers as he smiled while he saw her there laying there under the quilt he gave her after she fell asleep. He handed her a hot cup of coffee and sat next to her on the couch as he smiled and kissed her on the forehead and said " buenos días, hermosa" Melina smiled and said " buenos días" as she sipped her coffee and smiled in delight as she said " this coffee tastes good! what did you put in it?" Eric shrugged and said " oh two Splendas, some caramel creamer I had left over, and little bit of milk". Melina laughed as she sipped her coffee and said " well you should work for Starbucks instead of writing!" Eric then said " how about own it? wouldn't that be better?" he said while smiling sincerely, Melina as she said " yeah I could see you owning Starbucks and taking it on and being some corporate asshole who only cares about the money" Eric raised his eyebrow and said " oh really?" Melina laughed and said " yeah" Eric then said " alright keep making jokes like that and this corporate asshole can instantly buy himself a new girl to please him" Melina then rolled her eyes and laughed as she said " good luck with that". After they had their coffee Melina put on some clothes and her heels as she and Eric walked out on the porch and waited for the taxi that was gonna take Melina home. Eric, grabbed her hand and said "you sure you gotta go home?" he said with a smile, Melina laughed and held his hand while sighing as she said " you know I'd love to stay but I gotta go to work so I can't" Eric rolled his eyes and said " ugh ok". Meanwhile, next door as Kells was walking by the window eating her breakfast she see's Eric with another girl, she stops as she puts her breakfast down and pulls the blinds apart to see him holding hands with the girl as she's wearing his long sleeve white button up t-shirt; her blood began to boil and her heart started to pound fast as she saw her in his shirt then saw him pulling her in for a passionate kiss, she clutched onto the blinds and grumbled " they fucked..." Eric walks back inside as the girl leaves into the taxi. Kells, let's go of the blinds and marchs down to Eric's house and knocks on his door as he says in a joyful tone while opening the door " aww you gonna cancel work for me?!--" then his smile quickly faded when he saw Kells as he saw her there with her arms folded and angry.    
Eric, stood his ground and quietly said " what the hell do you want now Kells?" Kells without hesitation said "who the fuck is she Eric?!" Eric then said " none of your damn business that's who!" Kells then said " the fuck it ain't! I'm carrying your fucking child! you better fucking tell me!" Eric then said " why? It's not like I'm even cheating on you so leave me the fuck alone!" Kells then shouted " YOU ARE FUCKING TOO YOU ARE FUCKING AROUND WITH BITCHES WHEN IM HAVING YOUR BABY!!!" Eric quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her in and slammed the door and pinned her against the wall and yelled " IM NOT FUCKING WITH YOU ANYMORE DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?! IM DONE PLAYING GAMES!! I AIN'T DOING THIS SHIT WITH YOU ANYMORE!" he kept shaking her as he did Kells said " go ahead hit me I guarantee you'll never see your child ever again once it's born!" Eric stopped as he gritted his teeth then he let go and said " get the fuck outta my house!" while pointing to the door. Kells then raised her eyebrow and said " why should I but that skank gets a welcome free pass here whenever she wants?" Eric came closer to her and said " because she actually matters to me now get the fuck out". A tear fell from Kells eye but she quickly wiped it away as she said " fine" and walked out. Kells went into her house and took a kitchen knife as she came back out and as she waited to see him move away from the window inside the house she went to his car and slashed his tires then went back inside and grabbed a empty water bottle and filled it up with sugar as she was doing it one of the foster kids Tay came up to her and saw her as she asked " what are you doing Kells?" Kells smiled and said " oh a special game Tay! do you wanna play?" Tay said " ok, but how do I play?" Kells then showed her the bottle and said " take this bottle and come with me outside..." she leads her outside then shows her Eric's car and said " you see that car?" Tay nodded " yeah isn't that Mr. Eric's car?" Kells then said " yeah but Eric wanted us to pour this in his tank" Tay looked at her unsure and said " he did?" Kells smiled and said " yes he did! he didn't have any gas so he wanted sugar instead he said it makes it go faster!" Tay then said " oh ok..." then walked up to the car and poured the sugar in the tank as Kells watched from the house then she rushed Tay back inside. Then finally Kells took a small rock and threw it at his windshield leaving a crack. She walked back inside and casually watched tv with the kids.
