Teddy bear
I feel like an unwanted teddy bear offered as a prize at a travelling fair,
So many players hook the duck and win the game but still I am never selected I am just left hanging there,
Swinging in the wind,
Soaking in the rain,
Freezing in the snow,
Travelling from fairground to fairground,
Forever on the road but never at home,
Thrown in a box with lots of other more popular toys but always alone,
The same sights seen night after night,
Smiling faces on the pretty rides,
Happy faces illuminated by the shinning lights,
Arrogant families with their candy floss lives,
I hope they choke on a hotdog and die,
I feel like a cuddly toy that never gets hugged- I feel unwanted, useless and unloved.
