Frankensteins Monsters Mongrel

I am Frankensteins monster
My father was the infamous doctor
He made me a wife but I didn't want her
I asked my father if I could return her
He refused and she got meaner and meaner
I look ugly but her personality was uglier
She treated me like a cook and cleaner
She was a liar, cheater and husband beater
She chucked me out and I was more than happy to release her
I heard she remarried a second hand car dealer
I say good luck to the geezer.

I work as a grave digger at a pet cemetery
I live in a tent on site as night security
I mean one look at my face and people are scared of me
There is now no more vandalism on the property
I also sweep the leaves, pull up the weeds and  maintain the place
In return I get food, clothes and permission to stay
I  get paid a small weekly wage
I mostly avoid people during the day
I hate to watch the grieving owners
They love their dogs like sons and daughters
They bring toys and flowers
Occasionally we receive a visit from a dog shelter truck
It brings the bodies of dogs which were abandoned and unloved
They get buried in a mass grave because that's the cheapest way, there is no service or remembrance plaques
I find it sad, they are unwanted  just like me
Dogs are loyal, Dogs are man's best freind these poor creatures needed a chance to live again.

I decided to use the freshest remains to create a pet,
I developed a lab in the tool shed
I used items I had managed to collect
Including a car battery and jump lead
I had saved notes including recipes of the special potions the doctor used on me
I want to make undefinable breed
I made a Mongrel called puzzle
I fitted all the pieces together and the creature is beautiful
Face of chiwawa
Stomach of sausage dog
Legs of great dane
Tail of pug
That was the best of what I dug up
It was never intended as a guard dog, show dog or working dog.
Just a companion to love.

I soaked the experiment in the magic potion using my father's secret ingredient
I pumped the dog with electricity using a car battery
To my delight it started to breathe
It kissed my face and made me weep
A friend forever mine to keep
She never ran or barked at me
She ignored my appearance and accepted me
She sat on my lap so I could hug her
I knew at that moment I would always love her
